Born in Southern California, I relocated to Europe in 1998. I've always been keenly interested in different cultures and languages. My mother's Mexican background gave me the opportunity to learn Spanish from an early age, as well as spend a good amount of time exploring Mexico. The seed was then planted in my interest for cross-cultural communication and traveling.

I studied Political Science and Spanish and was awarded a Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. This knowledge prepared me for my studies in French, German, and Swiss-German, all of which I use on a daily basis in my current city in Switzerland.

I have been working as a freelance translator since 2005, including work for well-known translation companies in Switzerland covering a great variety of topics and fields. In addition to my work as a freelance translator, I also worked as an office manager at a dynamic architecture firm for over 10 years, which further expanded my knowledge of cultural elements and contributed to my ideal of precision and style in my work.
